WHAT ASSISTANCE DOES FTWFC OFFER?

The Fort Worth Foster Closet offers both in-store shopping and emergency welcome bags for children and families experiencing the child welfare system. Families are welcome to shop in-store to hand pick and try on different items from our Resource Store.

We also understand that many placements can occur with short notice. Emergency welcome bags are a collection of different items and resources that will sustain the child and family for up to a week. Our On-Call Advocates are on-call 24 hours a day to help pack emergency welcome bags. Emergency bags can be picked up from our Resource Store or delivered to a location within a 25-mile radius of the closet.

WHAT INFORMATION DO I NEED TO PROVIDE TO GET ASSISTANCE?

A copy of a placement letter provided by a county or agency is required to receive assistance from The Fort Worth Foster Closet. A placement letter should be provided for each child whom you are requesting items for. The letter can be uploaded in the form below or emailed to fortworthfostercloset@gmail.com.
